Christmas 2011

I am so thankful for a wonderful family to spend Christmas with!

Every year on Christmas Eve we find a few families to help close by that might need some help with Christmas. This year my sis-in-law and I got some of my cousins to help drop off the Christmas dinners. I love the Spirit of Christmas as all of us run and hide to watch the family open the door and find their surprise waiting on the porch.

My brother, Alan and his wife spent the night Christmas Eve. Christmas morning my parents come to watch the kids open their gifts and for dinner my Grandma Slade and Aunt Cathy come for dinner, along with Travis' parents who are on a mission in SLC this year.

Travis worked very hard with one of our friends to make the boys a Lego table; by far their FAVORITE gift. I just love the sound of my boys playing once all the gifts have been opened.

Most of all I am grateful for my Savior that came into this world to show us the perfect example to be like.

I am looking forward to a great 2012 and hopefully welcoming another little one into our family. 2011 has brought a fair share of trials trying to make this possible, but I am grateful for the patience I am slowly learning and know things are the way they should be for now.

We hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and have many blessings to be grateful for in 2012.
